Who are we looking for?

For our client Leaseweb we are looking for an experienced and people minded Engineering Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and success of their cloud hosting solutions.

Leaseweb has been a leading international organization in the area of hosting services and SAAS solutions for 20 years, with more than 500 employees in 10 countries.

In your role as Engineering Manager you will lead and guide three engineering teams (20-30 FTE total) each with its own Agile Team Lead and Product Owner, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Each team has end to end responsibility for a specific product or part of the architecture. Together with the rest of the management team, you will develop and execute strategic plans to align the engineering teams with Leaseweb's technical and business objectives.

You will report to the Director of Engineering for Leaseweb Global and work closely with Team Leads and Product Owners to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer deliveries and roadmap items.

Results to be achieved

Develop and execute the strategic plans to align the engineering teams.

Facilitate effective collaboration between the engineering teams and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across projects and initiatives.

Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development for Team Leads, Product Owners and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What do you bring?

You are an experienced Engineering Manager, preferably in a hosting, cloud services or highly technical environment.

You have a proven track record in leading multiple engineering teams with their respective Team Leads and Product Owners. You have a strong technical background with expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking and/or related technology

You bring a positive and proactive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams. You have an analytical mindset, quickly grasping complex workflows and processes.
