Who are we looking for?

For our client Van Oord we are looking for a result driven and people minded Manager Digital Technology who will play a key role in the development and execution of the Digital Technology strategy.

As the Manager Digital Technology you are able to combine a deep understanding of best practice ITIL-based IT operations governance and its processes, with the ability to think strategically - delivering innovative services that align with the company's Digital objectives. You will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to support the company’s demand for IT services. Your expertise will help streamline processes, enhance system performance, and guarantee that our IT services align with business goals.

You are able to design and build the continuous improvement of the digital foundational platforms, IT-infrastructures, products and services. You translate the Digital Technology strategy and broader Information and Data strategy into a three-year roadmap, annual plan and budget for the department.

You will report directly to the CIO and you are part of the Information Office MT.

Results to be achieved

Transform the Digital Technology vision into actionable three-year roadmaps that drive innovation and operational excellence.

Lead the design, development, and seamless operations of robust Digital Technology platforms and IT infrastructures, ensuring their sustainability, security, and resilience to support the organisation's strategic ambitions.

Raise the bar for delivery and orchestration of existing operational IT processes, creating a controlled, scalable, predictable and efficient IT environment that supports business continuity.

Orchestrate digital operations teams & services to deliver on all relevant responsibilities and set the direction for further team and/or service development. 

What do you bring?

You are a senior manager with 10-15 years of progressive experience in orchestration, sourcing and delivery of IT and services. You have solid experience in maturity improvement, preferably in an international business environment.

You have a proven track record of strategy and roadmap development. Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.

You bring a positive and proactive attitude. You challenge yourself, your teams and the organisation to continuously learn, improve and innovate. You lead and coach your teams and promote collaboration across Van Oord in an agile way of working.
